Carlos Hathcock



CARLOS N. HATHCOCK II entered the United States Marine Corps in May of 1959 and served two tours of duty in Viet Nam. He was a competitive shooter, served several tours with the USMC rifle/pistol team, and won the Wimbledon Cup in 1965. Carlos was actively involved in establishing the Scout/Sniper Instructor School in Quantico, Virginia, and he was the NCOIC of the school when he was medically retired in 1979.
